Sept. 3. 2005 journalist Patricio Espinoza and Bernessa Jakle were among the first cameras allowed inside the Astrodome in Houston, Texas where at the time more than 11,000 Katrina evacuees had found shelter.
Two years later, in Katrina's anniversary, we now know many of these evacuees were never able to return home. Today much of New Orleans still looks like Katrina had just hit the area. This video was shot unplanned, with a home video camera.
